Privacy choices
Little Moments gives you controls in the app and through iOS. Here is where to find each one.
Enhanced transcription AI
Little Moments → Settings → AI privacy
Separately allow or revoke sending a recording, Apple transcript, optional child selection, and limited spelling context to compare transcript candidates and prepare one evidence-grounded recommendation. It is not allowed until you choose it.
Organizer and highlights AI
Little Moments → Settings → AI privacy
Separately allow or revoke sending chosen text and minimized family context for titles, timeline details, milestones, and highlight drafts. The current disclosure also covers a deduplicated list of shared-family tag labels sent without their associated stories, people, dates, counts, or IDs so the organizer can prefer fitting existing vocabulary. It is not allowed until you choose it.
Photos
iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Little Moments
Choose None, Limited, or broader access. Browse all Photos uses Apple’s permissionless picker, and only selected copies upload.
Notifications
Little Moments → Settings → Notifications
Choose whether this iPhone receives generic automatic-highlight alerts. This is personal to each family member.
Automatic highlights
Little Moments → Settings → Automatic highlights
The family owner can enable or disable weekly, monthly, and yearly whole-family drafts. All are off by default.
Birthday cards
Little Moments → Settings → Children → choose a child
Each family member controls their own advance birthday-card preference. Memorial profiles default to no advance card.
Family access
Little Moments → Settings → Family
With active membership, an owner can create invitations. Owners can revoke unused invitations or remove a member. Members are full co-editors while access is active.
Membership
Little Moments → Settings → Membership
The family owner can view unlimited-creation and invitation access, restore an Apple purchase, or open Apple’s subscription settings. One owner subscription covers active members invited into the same in-app family.
Journal content
Open a moment, milestone, profile, or highlight
Correct or delete saved information using the relevant edit or overflow controls.
Account deletion
Little Moments → Settings → Account actions
Delete the account in-app. Owner and member deletion have different effects, described on our deletion page.
