Who may use Little Moments

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. The app is for adults keeping a private family journal; it is not directed to children as account holders. You are responsible for having appropriate authority and consent to add information about a child and to share that information with invited family members.

Your account

Provide accurate sign-in information, protect access to the Google Account or Apple Account you use to sign in, and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your Little Moments account. Little Moments creates its own app-specific account and sessions after Google or Apple verifies your identity.

Free and unlimited moment creation

Little Moments can be downloaded for free. Without an active paid membership, the members of one in-app family collectively can create one new moment in each Monday-to-Sunday calendar week. The allowance is based on when the moment is created, not the date described in the story. Deleting or backdating a moment does not restore that week’s allowance.

The weekly free moment can be typed or recorded on iPhone or Apple Watch and can use transcription, separately permitted AI organization, milestones, highlights, photo attachments, and notifications. A paid membership removes the weekly creation limit for the subscribed in-app family and lets the owner create new family invitations. Ending a membership does not delete saved journal content, remove existing members, or revoke an invitation that was already issued; the family returns to the weekly allowance and cannot generate another invitation until membership is active.

Subscription plans and free trial

Little Moments currently offers an auto-renewable monthly plan for US $4.99 and an auto-renewable annual plan for US $29.99. The App Store purchase sheet displays the price and currency that apply to you, including any taxes or regional pricing, and controls if it differs from a price stated here.

Eligible new subscribers can receive a two-week free trial when the offer appears in Apple’s purchase sheet. Apple determines eligibility. If you begin a trial, it converts to the selected paid plan unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. A trial cannot be restarted merely by deleting and recreating a Little Moments account.

We may provide a narrowly scoped, time-bounded complimentary entitlement for App Review or support testing. It is separate from Apple billing, does not charge an Apple Account, and does not renew.

One membership for an invited family

At launch, the Little Moments family owner is the person who starts, restores, and manages the membership. While that membership is active, unlimited moment creation extends to active adults invited into the same in-app family journal, and the owner can create invitation codes. Invited members do not need separate Little Moments subscriptions, and their unlimited creation access ends if they leave or are removed from that journal.

This is Little Moments’ own family entitlement. It does not use Apple Family Sharing, does not automatically include people in an Apple family group, and does not unlock a different Little Moments family merely because someone shares an Apple Account or Apple family group with the subscriber.

Every invited member is a full co-editor, not a read-only viewer, and can access, add, change, or delete shared profiles and journal content made available in the app. Invite only people you trust. The owner controls invitations, member removal, and deletion of the shared journal. Existing members and already-issued invitation codes remain intact if membership ends. Little Moments does not currently support transferring ownership or subscription management to another member.

Apple billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple and charged to the Apple Account shown in the purchase sheet. After a trial, or immediately if no trial applies, payment is charged when Apple confirms the purchase. The plan renews automatically for the same duration and at the then-current price unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge the renewal during the 24 hours before that period ends.

The family owner can manage or cancel the subscription in iOS under Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app, leaving a family journal, or deleting a Little Moments account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Billing questions, refunds, and purchase eligibility are handled under Apple’s policies. If Apple reports that access has expired, been refunded, or been revoked, unlimited family moment creation and new invitation creation can end promptly and the free weekly allowance applies.

Use Restore Purchases while signed into the owner account if a valid purchase is not recognized. A restored purchase must match the Apple transaction and the Little Moments family associated with it; contact support before deleting an owner account if you need help preserving access.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, process, transmit, display, and transform that content only as needed to provide and secure Little Moments—for example, to create a metadata-stripped photo copy, sync a recording, or prepare an AI-assisted draft after the appropriate permission is given.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permission to submit and share the content. You are responsible for deciding what belongs in the journal and who should have access.

Optional AI permissions and suggestions

Paying for Little Moments does not give automatic permission to send journal information to an AI service. The app asks separately before using (1) enhanced transcription, which can send a recording, Apple’s on-device transcript, and limited spelling context, and (2) AI organization and highlights, which can send selected written content and minimized family context. You can decline either permission and change it later in Settings. The Privacy Policy lists what each request includes and excludes.

AI can make mistakes, mishear names, misunderstand dates, omit context, or produce unsuitable language. Suggestions are not professional advice or verified facts. Review and correct generated titles, dates, links, milestones, and chapter drafts; a saved moment’s journal entry remains the words you selected. A possible milestone is never confirmed automatically. Little Moments does not claim to understand a family’s emotions, grief, relationships, or intentions.

Acceptable use

Do not use Little Moments to violate law; infringe rights; harass, exploit, or endanger anyone; submit malicious code; probe or disrupt the service; bypass access or payment controls; scrape or reverse engineer the service except where law permits; impersonate another person; or upload content you have no right to use.

Privacy and third-party services

Our Privacy Policy explains data handling. Little Moments depends on services from Apple, Google, Cloudflare, and device operating systems. Their terms can also apply to the parts they operate. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

Changes, availability, and plan changes

We may add, change, suspend, or retire features; impose reasonable limits; or update these terms. We may change subscription pricing or plan contents prospectively, subject to Apple’s notice and consent requirements and applicable law. We aim to keep the service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect synchronization, permanent storage, or compatibility with every future device or operating-system version. Keep separate copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Account suspension and deletion

You can delete your Little Moments account in Settings whether or not a paid membership is active. An owner’s deletion removes the shared journal for everyone; a family member’s deletion removes only that account and its family access. Account deletion does not cancel a subscription purchased from Apple.

We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, security risks, legal requirements, payment fraud, or discontinuation of the service. Sections that by nature should survive—including ownership, billing obligations already incurred, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute terms—will survive termination.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Little Moments is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or data preservation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these may not fully apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hello Ready Set Go and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, memories, access, goodwill, or profits; or damages arising from invited-member activity or third-party services. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Little Moments in the 12 months before the claim or US $100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in San Francisco County, California will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law gives you another right. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.

Apple terms and contact

Your App Store download and subscription are also subject to Apple’s applicable Media Services terms and the Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (opens in a new tab). Apple is not responsible for operating or supporting Little Moments.
